午前中は乗馬で流氷鑑賞。

雪原横断。
車道も通る。端の歩道に乗るように言われますが、
馬は雪が残る歩道よりもむき出しの車道が楽なので、なかなかいうことを
聞いてくれませんでした、^^; 時々走らせてもらったのは初体験。
On the road. The instructor wanted us to get on to the footpath, but the horse
preferred the bare road instead of snow-covered footpath. The horse won
most of the times, of course. We galloped a few times. That was the first for me, :)

川越。

雪の残る海岸。残念ながら流氷は見えず。
Onto the snow covered beach. Unfortunately, no drift ice in view.
帰路は林散策。

次は網走湖でワカサギ釣り。まず氷に穴を、

釣り上げられた魚はすぐ凍りつきますので新鮮そのもの。
When hoisted up on the ice, the fish freeze very quickly and stay very fresh.
最後は砕氷船。
